We have experienced warm temperatures but heavy rains here in Arkansas since Tuesday, March 8th.  It is our experience with both earthen and man-made ponds that the fish don't eat as well during these conditions.  We will have sunny and 80+ temperatures for the next couple of days so I'm expecting them to come out of hiding!  But, the weatherman tells me that winter temperatures will be returning by the end of the week!  Remember, the weather fluctuations will affect the fish's appetite so if they eat one day and not the next, don't fret.  If your pond is healthy, nature will tell them when it is time for the feeding frenzy!
