Begin feeding in early Spring when water temperature is consistently at or above 50 degrees F.  Feed fish daily, preferably at the same times each day. Fish will require more than one daily feeding if there is no other food supplementation in the pond. Take care not to overfeed. Overfeeding may result in oxygen depletion of water.  Always follow feeding guidelines for your size pond and number of fish you are feeding.

Discontinue feeding ornamental fish when water temperature falls to 50 degrees F during fall/winter feeding season.
